Everglades
Ada Perez Swenson
"Living in the everglades was an unforgettable experience"
Artist-In-Residence at the Everglades National Park
Ada was elected for a period of one month to live alone and create paintings of the everglades. Ada was given living quarters and a pass to enter the park at will. Now she had the opportunity to experience wildlife first hand. "This was a chance to leave phones, e-mails and television behind and paint one of nature's most remote wilderness, The "River of Grass." One of earth most unique regions."
The Everglades National Park sponsored a one-artist show of her work at the Park's Museum for a period of one month.

The FLORIDA PANTHER
As I stood painting at my easle, I heard someone jogging by. A young man discribed to me, a panther lying in the brush, with two cubs. Wonderful! But I didn't stay to find out for my self.
